What is InstaCube? InstaCube is designed for players who enjoy a primarily singleplayer-focused experience while still having the option to invite friends from time to time. It is ideal for players who do not want to worry about world backups, data loss, or transferring saves between computers. Your world is always there, always accessible, and you never have to manage files or worry about corruption eating your progress. We follow a strict no-deletion policy. As long as a recognizable structure exists, it will never be removed. Even very simple builds will remain permanently, provided they are not obstructing others. This policy has been in place since 2026. We mean it when we say permanent—there are builds on the server from the first month that are still standing exactly where they were placed. Players have left and come back years later to find their homes untouched. The server consists only of the standard Hytale worlds. There are no additional or temporary worlds. This keeps things simple and focused. You won't find seasonal event worlds that disappear after a month or minigame dimensions that fragment the community. Everyone plays in the same persistent world, which makes exploration meaningful and gives the map actual history. In all worlds, players are able to claim land and gradually expand their territory until they reach the borders of neighboring claims. The claim system grows with you—start small, expand as you need more space, and eventually your territory can become quite substantial if you stay active. Inactive claims don't suddenly vanish either; we'd rather have historical builds preserved than constantly recycle land. Outside of claimed areas, the world is considered freebuild at your own risk, and player-versus-player combat may occur. Think of unclaimed land as true wilderness—anything goes, and you should expect that others might be hostile. This is intentional. It makes claiming land valuable and gives the world some edge without ruining the core chill experience. Within claimed areas, the owner has full authority. This means the owner and their invited friends may interact freely, while uninvited players can be attacked and have no protection on foreign claims. Your claim, your rules. If someone wanders onto your property uninvited, you have every right to deal with them however you see fit. The server appeals to a specific kind of player: someone who wants the permanence of singleplayer with the social options of multiplayer, without all the complexity of faction servers or economy grinding. Log in, play at your own pace, invite friends when you feel like it, and know that everything you build is there to stay.
